Medical Update on Kinsley

Kinsley’s blood work showed an infection, so she’s on three strong antibiotics while her team works to find the best treatment. Since infections can sometimes attach to her central line, the doctors are watching that very closely.

She’s also dealing with painful mouth and stomach irritation (called mucositis), which makes it hard for her to eat or drink, and she had a rough night needing the bathroom often.

An infectious disease specialist will be checking in today to help guide the next steps.

She’s in excellent hands, and her team is moving quickly and carefully and Mom & Dad are staying strong right alongside her.

They are ao grateful for all the love, prayers, and encouragement 💕

If you read this, please leave an encouraging word for Kinsley for her parents to read to her later.

Kinsley had to drink contrast dye for a CT scan on her belly last night. Her new friend Gertie drank some with her.
